Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law — Please Read First
You do not need to purchase TOTO Prime Service to be protected. Under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010), you are already entitled to statutory consumer guarantees, independent of and in addition to any voluntary warranty or paid service plan. These guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by any contract.
Your ACL rights include, at no cost:
- Repair, replacement or refund for a major failure
- Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss
- Remedies for goods not of acceptable quality
- Remedies for goods not fit for purpose or matching description
- Duration of cover is what is "reasonable" for the product type — not fixed at 3 years
TOTO Prime Service is additional to these rights:
- Fixed, certain 6-year coverage period with no ambiguity
- Labour coverage from Year 3 (not guaranteed by ACL)
- Priority response commitment — 48–72 hours (not provided by ACL)
- Annual maintenance reminders and accessory discounts
For more information about the Australian Consumer Law visit www.accc.gov.au or contact Consumer Affairs Victoria on 1300 55 81 81 / NSW Fair Trading on 13 32 20. TOTO Prime Service does not limit, restrict or replace any of your statutory rights.

How to Submit a Claim
Online in minutes. No paperwork to hunt down — your invoice is already stored.
Submit Online or Through Your Dealer
Visit prime.bandh.com.au (available 24 hours) or ask your authorised TOTO dealer to lodge the claim for you. Enter your product serial number, describe the fault, and attach at least one photo. Your invoice is retrieved automatically. Claims cannot be lodged by phone.
B&H Assessment
B&H contacts you within 48 hours (Advanced / Concierge — priority) or 72 hours (Basic / Plus) to assess whether the issue can be resolved remotely or requires a technician visit.
Resolution
Remote fix via phone or video — resolved at no cost, no technician needed. If hardware fault confirmed, a technician is dispatched. All parts and labour provided by B&H at no charge.
Confirmation
Claim outcome recorded to your account. You receive a written confirmation email. Claim history is visible in your online portal.
Remote & Regional Areas
Prime Service covers all of Australia including remote areas. Response times in remote regions may be extended beyond the standard commitment, but no additional charges apply. B&H will confirm expected timeframes at the time of claim assessment.

30-Day Cooling-Off Period & Cancellation Rights
30-Day Full Refund Guarantee
If you change your mind for any reason, you may cancel TOTO Prime Service within 30 days of purchase and receive a full refund, provided no claim has been resolved during that period. If you have lodged a claim that has not yet been resolved, you may still cancel for a full refund — the pending claim is closed on cancellation.
- No reason required — simply notify B&H in writing
- Full purchase price refunded via original payment method
- Must be within 30 days of plan activation date
- Applies to all four plan tiers
- Cooling-off period starts from date of purchase receipt
To cancel: email service@bandh.com.au or call (03) 9558 6635 with your membership card number.
Cancellation After 30 Days
If you cancel after the 30-day cooling-off period, you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your plan, calculated as follows:
- Refund = plan price × (remaining years / total plan years)
- Any paid claim costs will be deducted from refund amount
- Processing fee of $50 (incl. GST) applies for mid-plan cancellation
- Cancellation must be requested in writing to B&H
- Refund processed within 15 business days of request
Note: B&H cannot cancel your plan without your consent except in the case of fraud or material misrepresentation. Your ACL rights continue regardless of plan cancellation.
Eligibility Requirements

- Australian residents purchasing for personal / household use
- Owner of the TOTO product (or authorised purchaser on their behalf)
- Holds a proper tax invoice from an authorised dealer showing the product's genuine TOTO product code
- Product must have been purchased from an authorised Australian TOTO dealer
- Product must be installed at a standard residential Australian address
- Product must not have been previously enrolled in a Prime Service plan
- Plan must be purchased within the existing 3-year manufacturer warranty period
Ineligible Circumstances
- Commercial, hotel, short-stay accommodation, or Airbnb use
- Products installed outside of Australia
- Products that have been modified or installed by non-authorised parties
- Products with pre-existing faults or damage not covered by the manufacturer warranty at time of plan purchase
- Products purchased second-hand (unless transferring an existing plan)

Replacement & Transferability
What happens when a product cannot be repaired — and how your plan follows the product to a new owner.
Repeat-Fault Replacement (All Plans)
If the same fault recurs three times within any 12-month period, you may request a replacement rather than a further repair — available on every plan tier. B&H will confirm the outcome in writing.
Fault-Based Replacement (Advanced & Concierge only)
If B&H assesses a product fault as unrepairable, a direct product swap will be arranged at no cost. Any replacement will be an equivalent or superior model of similar functionality; colour, finish or cosmetic appearance may differ. The original Prime Service plan closes on replacement. Replacement product is not automatically enrolled in a new Prime Service plan — the customer may purchase a new plan.
Transferability — All Plans
All plans are transferable. If you sell your home or product, the plan can be transferred to the new residential owner. Contact B&H in writing with both parties' details. A $25 transfer fee (incl. GST) applies. Maximum one transfer per plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
The existing TOTO manufacturer warranty covers parts and labour for Years 1–2, and parts only (no labour) in Year 3. TOTO Prime Service bridges the Year 3 labour gap and then extends full coverage (parts and labour) through Years 4, 5, and 6 — giving you 6 uninterrupted years of total protection. It also adds member benefits the standard warranty does not include: priority response (Advanced/Concierge), annual maintenance reminders, accessory discounts, repeat-fault replacement and plan transferability.
Yes — absolutely. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) exist independently and cannot be removed, reduced or replaced by any paid plan. Under ACL, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for products that fail to meet consumer guarantees, regardless of whether you purchase Prime Service. The duration of your ACL rights is determined by what is "reasonable" for a product of that type and price — which may extend beyond 3 years. Prime Service is a supplementary service that provides additional certainty and convenience beyond what ACL guarantees.
Prime Service must be purchased while the original 3-year TOTO manufacturer warranty is still active — i.e., within 3 years of your product's purchase date. If you purchase in Year 1 or Year 2, you immediately gain Year 3 labour coverage. If you purchase in Year 3, you gain labour coverage for the remainder of Year 3. The Prime Service fee is the same regardless of when you purchase within the 3-year window. Once the standard warranty has expired, new Prime Service plans are no longer available for that product.
For Advanced and Concierge plans, B&H will contact you within 48 hours (business days, priority queue) of claim submission to assess the fault and agree on a resolution path. For Basic and Plus Service plans, the commitment is within 72 hours (business days). These timeframes are target service standards, not guarantees — they reflect initial assessment contact, not the time to repair completion, and may vary with technician availability, weather, remote locations and parts supply. Your ACL right to have services supplied within a reasonable time is unaffected.
Prime Service does not cover: physical damage caused by the customer or a third party (drops, impacts, flooding, liquid intrusion); installation or repair by non-authorised technicians; commercial, hotel, or short-stay accommodation use; natural disaster damage (flood, fire, lightning, power surge, pest); cosmetic or surface issues that do not affect function; consumable items that have reached their natural lifespan (deodorant filters, batteries, cleaning cartridges); customer-initiated software or configuration changes; and products with pre-existing faults at time of plan purchase. For disputable claim decisions, see the Complaint Resolution section.
For Advanced Service and Concierge Service plan holders, if B&H's assessment concludes that a fault is a genuine hardware failure and the product cannot be practically repaired, B&H will arrange a direct product replacement at no additional cost. The original Prime Service plan will close upon replacement. The replacement product is not automatically covered by a new Prime Service plan — you may choose to purchase a new plan separately. All other plans (Basic and Plus) cover repair only; fault-based replacement is not included.
Yes — for all plans. The plan can be transferred to the new product owner (e.g., when selling a home or giving the product as a gift). Both parties must notify B&H in writing with the product serial number, current plan holder details, and new owner details. A $25 (incl. GST) transfer fee applies. The new owner then becomes the plan holder with all remaining benefits.
Each year, B&H will send an email to your registered address with a personalised maintenance reminder for your TOTO product. This includes guidance on cleaning the bidet nozzle, when to replace the deodorant filter, how to check the seat's electrical connections, and seasonal care tips. The reminder also includes a link to your exclusive accessory discount to purchase replacement consumables at 10–15% off the retail price.
Yes. All Prime Service plans include nationwide in-home service coverage, including remote and regional areas of Australia. There are no additional charges for remote area service calls. Response times in very remote areas may be extended beyond the standard response commitment, and B&H will communicate expected timeframes clearly at the time of claim. The Concierge Service annual in-home professional service visit is subject to technician availability in the area; where it is not available, a $200 credit is provided instead for that year.
Yes. A 30-day cooling-off period applies from the date of purchase. During this period, you may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund, provided no claim has been lodged. After 30 days, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the plan, less any paid claim costs and a $50 (incl. GST) processing fee. To cancel, contact B&H in writing via service@bandh.com.au with your membership card number.

Service Plan Terms & Conditions
Version 1.3 — effective 1 August 2026 · Reviewed by Lincolns Lawyers & Consultants (Ref RT:KC:18607, 3 August 2026)
This is a summary of the Terms & Conditions. The full Terms & Conditions (Version 1.3) are the legally binding document and prevail over this page in the event of any inconsistency. Always refer to the version in effect at the time of your purchase.
1. About TOTO Prime Service
- TOTO Prime Service ("the Plan") is a paid, optional service plan offered by B&H Investment Group Pty Ltd ACN 138 061 346 ("B&H"), authorised TOTO distributor for Australia, operating from Unit 3, 163-179 Forster Rd, Mount Waverley VIC 3149.
- The Plan is a service contract and is not an insurance product. B&H is the Plan administrator and the party responsible for all service obligations.
- The Plan provides additional service benefits beyond the TOTO standard manufacturer warranty and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). It does not replace, reduce or exclude any ACL rights or statutory consumer guarantees.
- The Plan is available in four tiers: Basic Service, Plus Service, Advanced Service, and Concierge Service. Benefits differ by tier as described in the Plan benefits table.
2. Australian Consumer Law — Mandatory Statement
- The benefits provided by TOTO Prime Service are in addition to the rights and remedies that you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) and any other applicable law.
- You do not need to purchase TOTO Prime Service to be entitled to your rights under the ACL, including the right to a repair, replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- Purchasing TOTO Prime Service does not limit, restrict, modify or replace any right or remedy you have under the ACL or any other applicable law.
- For more information about the ACL and your consumer rights, visit www.accc.gov.au.
3. Coverage Period
- The Plan provides coverage commencing from the Coverage Start Date — the original product purchase date or, where the product was physically received or installed after purchase and reasonable evidence of that later date is provided (e.g. a delivery record or a licensed plumber's installation invoice), that later date — bridging through the manufacturer warranty period and extending total coverage to six (6) years from the Coverage Start Date.
- The Plan must be purchased while the TOTO standard manufacturer warranty is still active (within 3 years of the Coverage Start Date).
- During Years 1 and 2 of the manufacturer warranty, the standard warranty governs. The Plan supplements by providing the Year 3 labour benefit described in clause 4.
- During Years 4, 5 and 6, the Plan is the sole source of extended coverage, covering both parts and labour.
- Coverage ends at the earlier of: (a) 6 years from original product purchase date; (b) fault-based product replacement under Advanced or Concierge plans; or (c) plan cancellation.
4. Year 3 Labour Coverage
- The TOTO standard 3-year manufacturer warranty covers labour during Years 1 and 2 only. Labour in Year 3 is excluded under the standard warranty.
- Upon purchase of a TOTO Prime Service plan, B&H will cover the cost of labour for any in-warranty claim arising during Year 3 of the product's life, such that the customer incurs no out-of-pocket labour cost during Year 3.
- Parts coverage in Year 3 continues under the standard manufacturer warranty. Prime Service supplements by covering only the labour cost in Year 3.
- A fault that arises while the TOTO Manufacturer Warranty is active and that is covered by that warranty is not treated as a Pre-Existing Fault under this Plan, even if it arose before you purchased the Plan. If you purchase the Plan while the Manufacturer Warranty is active, the Year 3 Labour Bridge applies to such faults from the date of Plan purchase. The Pre-Existing Fault exclusion continues to apply to any fault or damage not covered by the Manufacturer Warranty (for example physical damage, misuse or unauthorised repair). Once the Manufacturer Warranty has expired, the Plan can no longer be purchased.
5. Service Standards
- B&H will contact customers within 48 hours (Advanced and Concierge plans — priority) or 72 hours (Basic and Plus plans) of a valid claim submission, measured in business days, to assess the nature of the fault.
- Where faults can be resolved remotely via phone or video guidance, B&H will provide this service at no charge. Remote resolution does not count against any service visit allocation.
- Where an in-home technician visit is required, B&H will schedule this at a mutually agreed time. Remote and regional customers will have extended scheduling windows but incur no additional charges.
- In-home service covers all of Australia, including remote areas as defined by the Australian Bureau of Statistics Remoteness Structure.
- B&H may appoint subcontractors, authorised service agents or other qualified service providers as technicians acting on its behalf to perform any inspection, repair or replacement, and remains responsible for those services.
- The customer must provide safe, timely and reasonable access to the product for inspection, repair or replacement. Where access cannot reasonably be provided, B&H may reschedule the service or suspend performance until access is available.
- Response and scheduling times are target service standards, not guarantees, and may vary with technician availability, weather, remote locations or parts supply. Nothing in this clause limits the ACL right to have services supplied within a reasonable time.
6. Exclusions
The Plan does not cover:
- Physical damage caused by the customer, household members or third parties (including impacts, drops, flooding, liquid intrusion, cuts or tears);
- Installation, modification or attempted repair by parties other than B&H or B&H-authorised technicians;
- Products used in commercial, hotel, short-stay accommodation or non-standard residential settings;
- Damage from natural events including flood, fire, lightning, electrical surges, pest or vermin damage;
- Cosmetic issues such as surface scratches, fading or discolouration that do not affect product functionality;
- Consumable items including deodorant filters, batteries, cleaning cartridges and nozzles that have reached their designed lifespan;
- Failure resulting from the customer's modification of product software or configuration settings;
- Failure resulting from the customer's non-compliance with TOTO care and operating instructions;
- Pre-existing product faults or damage that existed prior to the Plan purchase date, other than faults covered by the TOTO manufacturer warranty (see Section 4);
- No-fault-found call-outs — where a technician attends and no covered fault is found, a call-out fee of $250 (incl. GST) may apply. You will be advised of this possibility before a technician is dispatched, and the fee will not apply where B&H's own remote assessment indicated a likely covered fault;
- Products sold, delivered or installed outside of Australia.
7. Plan Transferability
- All plans may be transferred to a new product owner (on sale of the product or home).
- Transfers must be submitted in writing to service@bandh.com.au, including the product serial number, current plan holder name and contact details, and new owner name and contact details.
- A transfer fee of $25 (incl. GST) applies per transfer.
- Transfers are effective from the date B&H confirms the transfer in writing.
8. Cooling-Off Period & Cancellation
- A 30-day cooling-off period applies from the Plan purchase date. During this period, the plan holder may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund, provided no claim has been lodged.
- Cancellation after 30 days: the plan holder is entitled to a pro-rata refund calculated as: (plan price) × (remaining years / total plan years), less any net claim costs paid by B&H, less a $50 (incl. GST) processing fee.
- B&H may only cancel a Plan without customer consent if: (a) the customer has committed fraud or material misrepresentation in connection with the Plan; or (b) the product is determined ineligible under clause 10 (Eligibility) at the time of purchase. In such cases, B&H will provide written notice and a full refund.
- To cancel, the plan holder must submit a written request to service@bandh.com.au with their membership card number. Refunds will be processed within 15 business days.
9. Eligibility Requirements
- The Plan is available to Australian residents for TOTO products used in standard residential settings in Australia.
- The product must have been purchased new from an authorised TOTO dealer in Australia, under a proper tax invoice showing a genuine TOTO product code as issued by TOTO.
- The Plan must be purchased while the manufacturer's standard warranty is active (within 3 years of original product purchase date).
- Pre-existing product faults or damage at time of Plan purchase are not covered. B&H may request evidence of the product's condition at time of Plan purchase.
10. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, B&H's liability under the Plan is limited to the re-supply of the services or payment of the cost of re-supplying the services.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under the ACL, including in relation to major failures of the Plan services.
- B&H is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss arising from a claim outcome, except to the extent required by the ACL.
- Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform (other than payment obligations) caused by events beyond its reasonable control — natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, war, terrorism, industrial disputes, government action or interruption of essential utilities. If such an event continues for more than 60 days, either party may terminate the Plan by written notice (pro-rata refund applies where B&H terminates).
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the Plan and supersede all prior discussions, representations and understandings. Nothing in this clause limits any right or remedy under the ACL. In the event of inconsistency between these Terms and the Consumer Handbook or any other Prime Service material, these Terms prevail.
- Any provision of these Terms which is illegal, void or unenforceable is ineffective only to the extent of that illegality, voidness or unenforceability, without invalidating the remaining provisions.
11. Privacy
- B&H collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
- Personal information is collected for the purpose of administering the Plan. It is not sold to third parties.
- B&H's full Privacy Policy is available at bandh.com.au/privacy.
- Plan holders may access, correct or request deletion of their personal information by contacting service@bandh.com.au.
12. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
- Nothing in these Terms limits your rights to bring a claim in any court of competent jurisdiction, or before a relevant tribunal, under the ACL.
13. Document Version & Updates
- These Terms are Version 1.3, effective 1 August 2026, and were reviewed by Lincolns Lawyers & Consultants (Ref RT:KC:18607, 3 August 2026).
- B&H may update these Terms for Plans not yet purchased. Plans already purchased will be governed by the Terms in effect at the date of purchase.
- Current Terms are always available at prime.bandh.com.au/terms and available for PDF download.
